Top 9 Summer 2022 Pop Ups We Are Most Excited About

1. July A/C (NYC)

July (the A/C company featuring pastel colored units and recently seen in Architectural Digest) markets itself as “your window’s coolest friend” - customizable A/C window units that are smart, more sustainable, and chic. Starting at $479, July is bringing their A/C units, which have a waitlist of 20,000 people, to New York City this summer. Their pop-up offers the ability to surpass that waitlist with in-store purchases and professional installation by their own white-glove service. We love this unique way to dress up your space. Check July’s A/C pop-up located inside the incredibly creative space, Coming Soon NY!

Visit:
July @ Coming Soon NY! 53 Canal Street, From June 1, 2022

2. doors. (Los Angeles)

doors. is a fashion, art, and beauty retailer bringing its New York-based pop-up “Metaverse, Schmetaverse” to West Hollywood. The pop-up will feature 50+ independent fashion designers from over 20 countries and 10 beauty brands selected by Beautyque NYC. Featured brands include Y/Project (Paris), Juun J (Seoul), Private Policy (New York), and Maison Audmi (Los Angeles). Events hosted at the space will include a Pride-inspired beauty launch from Derek Warburton and Face Stockholm and a panel discussion on the influence of the metaverse. This pop-up caught our eye because of the variety and diversity of brands and creators it features. Be sure to stop by if you’re in L.A.!

Visit:
doors. 8382 Melrose Avenue, May 28 - June 26, 2022

3. Local Eclectic (Chicago)

Following popularity on social media, Chicago jewelry brand Local Eclectic is bringing permanent bracelets to the West Loop in a pop-up. The bracelets are welded around the customer’s wrist for a claspless, seamless look. Appointments are 15 minutes and you can select one of four 14K gold options for your bracelet. The location also books private events for groups. We love how this experience can be made special by getting matching bracelets with a group of friends or family. Check them out if you’re looking for a unique experience in Chicago this summer!

Visit:
Local Eclectic, 118 N Peoria St, open through July 30, 2022

4. Gucci x Adidas (LA, NYC, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago)

Alessandro Michele’s Gucci x Adidas collaboration comes to Melrose Place on June 7th replacing the previous Marc Jacobs space. The pop up will feature streetwear pieces from the Exquisite Collection that debuted at Milan fashion week in February. The pop up experience is furthered on social media with a Adidas x Gucci Instagram filter, a TikTok challenge and TikTok Live (Booth). We love how people can celebrate the collaboration from a distance.

In addition, there will be installations of the collection in other locations including South Coast Plaza Jewel Court in Costa Mesa, CA; Fifth Avenue, Wooster Street and East Hampton in New York; Michigan Avenue in Chicago; Galleria in Houston; Lenox mall in Atlanta; Aventura mall in Miami, and Holt Renfrew Yorkdale store in Toronto (Booth).

Visit:
Gucci x Adidas, 8400 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, From June 7, 2022

5. SCRATCH Nail Art Pop-Up at The Current (Boston)

In need of nail inspiration? Look no further. The SCRATCH Nail Art pop up in Seaport features nail art appointments with local nail artists featuring their cruelty-free nail wraps. Visitors can book their nail art appointments online for 12 dollars, which includes a nail wrap set and two accent nails. We are loving the SCRATCH pop up because it provides a fun and unique experience featuring a great product. By giving nail art sessions to customers, SCRATCH is able to provide product demonstrations and build a brand community. Consider booking your very own nail art session to support this small, women-owned business.

Scratch, 85 Northern Ave, May 14- July 30, 2022

6. Sézane Pop Up at Culver City’s Platform (Los Angeles)

Check out the French brand, Sézane, in their largest pop up shop at the Platform called the “Residence” (Chenu). The selection includes pieces from the brand’s latest collections, and bags, shoes, accessories, and fragrances. If you are looking for timeless, vintage-inspired pieces, you will love this brand’s shop. The vision for Sézane’s pop up space was inspired by Parisian-style retail experiences. We are loving the brand’s commitment to creating spaces that feel like home. We also love the location of this pop-up! The Platform has been a wonderful home for many of our clients over the years! If you are in LA be sure to visit!

8. Coffee Bae at The Current (Boston)

If you’re a fellow coffee lover stop in to Coffee Bae’s pop up coffee-inspired shop in Seaport. You might recognize the viral user @coffeebae97 on Instagram and Tiktok for her heavenly creations. We love this influencer’s recipes, products, and aesthetic. While this pop up will not be a coffee shop, it will sell products such as Coffee Bae’s “Bae Beans,” glasswares, coffee-themed accessories,  and merch. We love how this creator has brought her “bae world” to life with this unique pop up shop.

9. Hypegolf Clubhouse (NYC)

Bringing the game of golf to a new audience is the goal of Hypegolf’s pop up in SoHo. The pop up’s “Clubhouse” will feature golf clothing, tech, and accessories from over 20 different unconventional brands (Herzig). In addition, there are miniature putting greens to practice your perfect stroke! Finding the cross between streetwear and golf attire will be the focus for this unique retail experience. Hypegolf started as a subset community based on the larger Hypebeast streetwear community. The overlap in the golf and streetwear markets is something new and exciting to see.
