The Giving Keys is a Los Angeles based jewelry company that employs those transitioning out of homelessness by making jewelry with empowering words hand stamped onto each piece of jewelry. For The Giving Keys first retail pop-up store we sourced a 21 foot, 1970’s Argosy Airstream Trailer. We gutted the entire trailer, custom designed the interior to become a jewelry store, and custom fabricated the interior displays. The exterior was painted with chalkboard paint so visitors can write and share their own “Pay It Forward” stories on the outside.
The first pop-up for the brand was held at the Grove and this trailer was the centerpiece. It also forged the path for future activations and pop-ups at The Grove thereafter. The airstream then took tours across the U.S. to different conferences and different events and other popular shopping destinations. This cool trailer represented the dynamic creativity and passionate community that define the story behind The Giving Keys brand and its founder, Caitlin Crosby. The Giving Keys are recognized all over today and this airstream was able to be a part of its growth. We witnessed firsthand the powerful stories the jewelry ignites. The moving stories and emotions we were able to be apart of throughout our journey with The Giving Keys were inspiring and moving.
